The red cap is not asked for. It is given, quietly, by Brethren who watched a man work for years without expecting to be seen. This pin carries that same restraint: the Court of Honour legend circling a green trefoil, set on a cross of deep red enamel, laid over a wreath that has stood for earned merit far longer than any of us have worn it.
The body is cast in 925k solid sterling silver. The semi-finished work leaves Istanbul, where the Grand Bazaar tradition still sets the standard for how a piece should sit in the hand, and the final work is done here in our Ruse workshop. After cleaning and polishing, the piece is coated in 22 karat gold to a thickness of 2 microns. The red, white and green enamel is laid into each recess by hand, one colour at a time, so the colour sits level with the gold rather than floating on top of it. Tolerances are held to microns, because a 30 mm piece has nowhere to hide a mistake.

Each pin is made to order, one at a time. Production takes 4 to 6 weeks. Formal procedures here in Ruse are slow, and we would rather be honest about that than rush the enamel. Personal engraving on the reverse can be arranged, please write to us before you order.

Shipped worldwide with DDP, so there are no customs duties to pay on delivery and no surprise at your door. Returns accepted within 14 days, return shipping at the buyer's expense. Made to order and personalised pieces can be returned only in the case of a production fault.
